FAQ

Common questions, plain answers.

Everything below is general — gear, delivery, custom shoots, payment. For licensing-specific questions (Standard vs Extended, distribution caps, refunds, takedowns), see the licensing page.

Who, what, where

Who actually shoots the footage?

Every clip and photo on Florida Drone Stock is shot by Austin Munday — a Central Florida REALTOR and aggregates-industry sales manager who flies a DJI drone in his off-hours. Nothing is licensed in from third-party contributors. If a clip is in the catalog, Austin flew the mission. More on the About page.

What drone are you flying?

DJI airframe, 4K capture. Specific model and lens setup is on the About page. Multiple aircraft in rotation depending on the mission — some flights need range, some need maneuverability in tight spaces.

What part of Florida do you cover?

The catalog skews heavily Central Florida — Orlando, Winter Park, Sanford, Lakeland, Clermont, the I-4 corridor — with a mix of landmarks, industrial sites, agricultural land, residential, and infrastructure. Coastal and South Florida coverage is lighter; if you need a specific coastal location, ask — custom shoots are available.

Files & delivery

What's the resolution and frame rate?

Native 4K — 3840×2160 at 29.97 fps. Color-graded in post. Delivered as H.264 MP4 with the watermark removed. Photos are full-resolution JPGs, EXIF-intact.

What file formats can I get?

Default is H.264 MP4 for video and JPG for photos. ProRes 422 HQ, DNxHR, or other delivery formats available on request — mention it in the license inquiry form or email after the order.

How fast is delivery after I license?

License inquiries get a reply within one business day. Once payment clears, the 4K masters arrive via signed download link the same day, usually within a few hours. The masters stay archived; if you lose your local copy later, email me and I’ll re-deliver at no charge.

Are previews on the site watermarked?

Yes — every public video and photo has a tiled FloridaDroneStock.com watermark across the frame. The 4K masters delivered after licensing are watermark-free.

Can I see the full clip before licensing?

Yes. The 1080p preview on each listing page is the full clip, edge-to-edge, at the full duration. What you see is what you get — minus the watermark and bumped to 4K.

Custom shoots & missing locations

What if the Florida location I want isn’t in the catalog yet?

If it’s in Central Florida and the airspace is legal, ask. The catalog only shows what’s already published — the SSD has hundreds of additional clips that haven’t been listed yet, plus brand-new shoots get added regularly. Email austindmunday@gmail.com with the location and there’s a good chance there’s already coverage or a flight can be scheduled.

Can I commission a custom shoot?

Yes. Most one-off requests in Central Florida can be flown within two weeks if weather cooperates. Edit and delivery typically takes another 3–5 business days after the flight. Custom shoots are quoted separately from catalog licensing — pricing depends on location, complexity, and turnaround.

Is there rush turnaround for time-sensitive work?

Yes — quoted separately. If you need a flight + edit + delivery inside a 48-hour window, email and we’ll see what’s feasible. Weather is the only thing that can’t be rushed.

Photos, exclusivity, payment

Do you license photos too?

Yes. Listings that include photos show them in a Photos section below the video grid. Photo licensing follows the same Standard / Extended pricing as video. Photos arrive as full-resolution JPGs, EXIF-intact, watermark removed.

Do you offer exclusive licensing?

Yes, on a per-listing basis. Exclusive licensing pulls the listing from the public catalog and assigns the entire bundle to one buyer for a defined term. Pricing is negotiated case-by-case based on the listing’s commercial value and intended use. Email austindmunday@gmail.com to discuss.

How can I pay?

Stripe (credit card), PayPal, ACH, or wire — whatever’s easiest for you. For corporate buyers needing a PO or net-30 terms, email austindmunday@gmail.com and I’ll work directly with your AP team.
